This villa is located on the hills overlooking the Eastern Caribbean, on the island of Nevis. The building is nestled in a steep slope minimizing the scarring of the site.
The house is accessed through a flying bridge, entering on the second floor balcony overlooking a spacious and elegant living room, offering grand views of the sea. The main building houses the social areas, kitchen, library and two guest rooms, each with their own bathrooms. The master bedroom is designed as a cottage, separated from the main building, to provide maximum privacy. The ample deck provides areas for sunbathing around the dramatic infinity edge swimming pool.
Large cisterns are built beneath the deck to store enough rainwater to be used during the long dry season of the Eastern Caribbean. The open plan, high cathedral ceilings, and fans throughout the buildings reduces the need of air-conditioning and enhances natural cross ventilation.
