This highly energy efficient commercial building was designed for the downtown area of San Pedro in the beautiful Belizian island of Ambergris Cay. The building provides office leising space, a gym and spa, and a restaurant in the first floor. The multi faceted elevation allow for a 360° view of the Caribbean Sea and the back bays. The various decks are designed to host social events, as well as yoga and exercise classes, and outside dining. The roof and decks also collect water during the rainy season in large cisterns located under the building. They are large enough to provide potable water to the building during the drought months. All the windows exposed to direct sunlight are shielded by hanging sustainably grown teak wood awnings.
